'''Anthony Dwane Mackie''' is an actor who played [[Papa Doc]] in [[8 Mile]]. He has appeared in a number of films, television shows, He appeared in [[Eminem]]'s film debut, [[8 Mile]], in 2002, and received his second nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 2009 Independent Spirit Awards for his role in The Hurt Locker.

In the 2009 film Notorious, Mackie played the late American rapper, Tupac Shakur. Brother to Brother, a 2003 independent film, was his first starring role in a feature film. For the second season of Netflix's science-fiction series Altered Carbon, Mackie was cast as Takeshi Kovacs. Outside the Wire, a science fiction film starring and produced by Mackie, will be released by Netflix on January 15, 2021.
