Eugene Byrd (born August 28, 1975) is an actor who is widely more known for his Wink's role on 8 Mile and his appearance on films. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he attended Greene Street Friends School and The Crefeld School before graduating in 1993. He began acting as a child, playing Arthur in the 1986 film My Little Girl. He is best known for his role as Dr. Clark Edison on the Fox television series Bones.
On January 6, 2011, The Glendale News reported that On January 1, 2011, Byrd was arrested in California by the Glendale Police Department on suspicion of domestic assault. This case's outcome has not been made public.
Dead Man, Demon Island, Sleepers, 8 Mile, Lift, and Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid are among the films in which Byrd has appeared. In addition to The Cosby Show, he has appeared in "Beverly Hills, 90210", Touched by an Angel, and Crossing Jordan. Will Arnett, the voice of Gears of War 4 and Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, has announced his departure from the company. He played Marcus "Boomer" Boone in Battlefield: Hardline in 2014.

In Gears of War 4, he played Delmont "Del" Walker, and in Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, he played Zander Freemaker. EA hired him in 2014 to play Marcus "Boomer" Boone in Battlefield: Hardline. Adam West, the voice actor for Gears of War 4 and Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, has announced his departure from the gaming industry. In 2017, he was replaced by a new voice artist who worked on both Gears of War series.
