Evan Jones (born April 1, 1976) is an actor who portrayed Cheddar Bob from 8 Mile, and is also the director of the television series "October Road" has announced his retirement from the show.

Jones made his acting debut in the 1998 television film On the Line. He has appeared in a number of TV shows, including Pacific Blue, Felicity, and Walker, Texas Ranger. In 2004, he was cast as basketball coach Moe Iba in the film Glory Road. The actor is also known for his role as Pfc. Dave Fowler in the film Jarhead, which also starred Jake Gyllenhaal and Jamie Foxx.
